I think when it's fully shaded and polished, the finger will be quite apparent - it's just hard to see with the flat colouring at the moment. I like A's composition way more, definitely voted for it!

I like A better, but you should point the missing finger down some more so its a little more noticeable.

B shows the missing finger better... but I like the pose for A more!

know people are voting for A, but I couldn't see the missing finger at all until I looked at B... I thought it was the angle that shortened it in A.

I do think B showcases the missing part of the finger a bit more. . . But A seems more appealing visually.

I like the posing of A better, but I voted for B, as you can see the importance of the missing finger better.

I think that B shows his character more, while A seems like a "generic" type of pose that people would use when they have a hand like that.

maybe trying to do a mix of A and B.. cause A is more dynamic, but B relates much more to the character and his history.

I get a lot of people are liking "A" because it looks cooler or they just like it better. But being the fangirl that I am and a nit pick for accuracy I vote for "B".

I originally voted A but I didnt notice the blade at first, with his blade drawn A doesn't really make any sense so I switch to B

For me the choice is 'B'. I realise 'B' is not as popular, but 'A' makes me think he's acting defensively - that's how the body language of the open hand reads to me. I still think you should progress 'B' even though it got less votes, but then I would say that :P

I say A, because the pose gives the character more balance.. well, at least I think so. When he close his hand into a fist, it looks like he might lose his balance. I dunno. xP

I like how prominent the missing finger is in B, but A does look cooler, and I think with more shading it'll be more obvious that the finger is a stub.

I would choose A, because there is more dynamic than B. Very suitable for a quick and deadly assassin like Altair! C: Also when he usually killed a victim he had his hand palm opened, A just looks more natural in that case. However, both concepts are wonderful!!

A looks "cooler" to me, but I think if his missing ring finger is important, it should be B. Otherwise, people might take it as weird foreshortening in A.

Technically, it should be B, because A should not be possible: Leo invented the blade-that-does-not-need-sacrificing-a-finger in late 14th.... So, yeah, B is the only possible solution. But meh, technic and beauty ^^

I'm torn between A and B, because I really really like the gauntlet. But I really like the fist on B too, it reminds me of the fighting stance we had to take in the martial arts class I took last semester.

My sister says A because she doesn't like the missing ring finger. I say A because it looks better aesthetically and has a cooler gauntlet, but A doesn't showcase the missing ring finger, sooo.... :/

A, because the open hand allows my eyes to circle around the image whereas the fist hand in B almost forces my eyes to stop at the fist.

Choice A looks better aesthetically, but if his missing ring finger is a notable feature—i.e. its history is important—B might be worthwhile.
