I really like the threading, stitches and seams, you always manage to make the clothing really feel like it is real.
Heero - Relena
Duo - Hilde (This works for me, Hilde was pretty cool and spunky.)
Wufei - Sally (This is also good for me, the potential for volatile chemistry is here.)
Zechs - Noin (Even if I like 13x6 better.)
Treize - Une (Even if I prefer 13x6 instead of 13x11 just because Une is freaking split personality here!)
Now who Do Quatre and Trowa have?
Quatre - Dorothy (Um, she sort of shisk-kabobed him with a rapier! Yeah, NO!)
Trowa - Catherine (Um SISTER!!! For real, Episode Zero confirms this, with revealing Trowa's real name is Triton Bloom and this is just INCEST on a stick to pair these two.)
So who else do these two have but each other in the series? No one. All their image songs also have lyrics that imply relationships with each other. So yeah, people who say 3x4 isn't canon, you're all on crack and denying the obvious in favor of something resembling homophobia. I admit the obvious potential het pairings, you have to admit to the obvious slash pairing.
But female characters weren't really Gundam W's strong point. Such a pity.
Um, who are you replying too? I don't think I made any indication that I don't think of 3x4 as anything but cannon. Kinda aggressive there friend, no body has argued with you here. Cool your fan-girling.
I do agree with all your comments about the female characters, potential lost, but that was really typical of anime in the 1990s, the women were typically not all that three dimensional and were two dimensional plot devices. There were rare exceptions, like Catherine and Sally Po but the others sort of gave their power away to men (like Noin) to the male counterparts. I much prefer to slash the bajeebers out of GW.
But again sorry if it came across other than I intended, just conversation about something I've been a fan of since it came out in '95. That's all.
